Operating Principles

A company of the future recognizes that business is never neutral. Every choice we make — from the products we build , to the way we speak to one another — leaves a mark. As both an employer and a business, we hold immense influence over the lives of our employees, our customers, our board and our communities. With that influence comes responsibility. Our aim is to minimize harm and to maximize good in every interaction

AI/ Machines can analyze data, automate processes, and even generate ideas — but they cannot replicate the uniquely human ways we influence, support, and treat each other. Kindness, trust, respect, and the ability to explore ideas together are not just human skills, they are human responsibilities

While technology will continue to change the way we work, one truth remains constant: our humanity — how we treat each other, and the impact we leave behind — is what will define both our success and our legacy

In order to optimize for our legacy we decided to create the following operating principles

1. We’re VERY transparent

All our decisions are transparent (more on that below) but we go beyond that.

We share everything with our employees, our board decks, our bank account. EVERYTHING. Why? Because we assume our employees are adults and can handle the good and the bad
